Webinar: COVID-19 & the Impact on Your Mental Health
COVID-19 poses unique challenges for all individuals. For those who experience common mental health challenges, anxiety and depression the pandemic may be an additional stressor that contributes to these issues. The uncertainty, social isolation and sometimes sudden and unexpected changes to normal routines, relationships with others, and work and home environments can be especially triggering and difficult to manage. In the face of a pandemic like COVID-19, it is more important than ever to exercise vigilance around our mental well-being and the mental well-being of those around us.
This session helped participants understand anxiety and depression, typical reactions, and equipped participants with strategies, tips and tools for regulating managing their own emotions as well as tips for supporting others who may be experiencing difficulties.
