Who can volunteer?
Homewood welcomes community members over the age of 16, from high school students to senior citizens, who are dependable and have a sincere desire to share their time.
How much time should you give?
We ask that volunteers commit a minimum of two to four hours per week for a period ranging from three to six months or up to one year, depending upon the program. Volunteers of the café, gift shop and patient library are expected to make a minimum 70-hour commitment.
How do you become a volunteer?
Print and complete the Volunteer Application Form and mail to Volunteer Services at the address on the application with two completed reference forms. Download the Volunteer Reference Request Form here.
References may be from employers, teachers/professors, volunteer work supervisors or coaches (references from family members are not accepted.) Attaching a resume is optional.
